Again, I know next to nothing about the books which were published by New World Publishers [e-reads].

I don't know.

No, I made the decision when those books were released, many, many years ago, that I would stick to the original set of books I have.
All the [e-rereads] books did was add more surrounding detail in certain situations. They did not 'revise' the books in a manner that the overall theme of the books is altered or distorted.
If you really wish to know the difference, you will need to find the original books and the books published by New World Publishers [e-reads].
Then read both side-by-side and note the difference in the [e-rereads] book.
