 Are there any passages that describe what happens to warriors who are permanently injured. Preferably second tier warriors?

Answer

I would suppose you are talking about a warrior who gets wounded and those of the Caste of Physicians are unable to heal him . . . for instance, a man loses an eye, or a limb.

It would only stand to reason that the man then lives the rest of his life with a missing eye or limb.
He would no longer be an effective fighter, but that does not mean he is no longer useful.
Since this is all hypothetical, we can also make up things this man can still do. But I'll leave that up to others.
