| 471 | For some reason there is this story about speaking a name and changing into a turtle by the caste of artisan. But I can not find that quote. So I might mix things up. My question is about speaking names. Would slaves speak the name of their owners freely ?
Answer
Freely? No, probably not.
However, there is also no rule against a slave using the master’s name. If you’ll reason with me, you can find a more complete answer here, on this page.
As a side note, there is no magic on Gor nor is there a Caste of Artisan specifically mentioned within the books.
