 Q #  Question
461
Have we ever seen anything about a difference in passage of time between Earth and Gor? One would have no particular reason to think so, from the narratives; but it would seem that only twenty years have passed between 10110 (book 1) and 10132 (book 35) - that would be from 1966 to 2019, (53 years) Earth-wise...? We are given to understand that the planet Gor is something like two-thirds the size of Earth, I think - is that about right? Even so, I can't conceive an alignment via my own, admittedly limited, mental capacity....

Answer

While Book 1, Tarnsmen of Gor was published in 1966 or 1967 (depending on which source you believe) the events of that book took place in 10,110 CA. In other words, 1960.
The last book, in which we have a definite date reference is Book 35, Plunder of Gor.
The events of Book 35 took place in 10,132 CA, which is only 22 years later or 1982.

All of this is explained on these pages:

The Theory of Time
Timeline of Gorean History
