 Q #  Question

this kajira has a question is a kajira allowed to touch the Home Stone

Answer

I would hope you read my page called Home Stone.

But more to your question, we have the example of the Home Stone of Port Kar.
Raiders of Gor     Book 6     Pages 250 – 252 tells us it was Fish, a slave, who was sent out to find a rock which became the Home Stone of Port Kar.

Ok, it could be argued that once Bosk inscribed the initials of Port Kar upon the stone and held it up, it does not show Fish touched it, but it does not show anyone else did either. And all present accepted it.

Then, if you read through all the Supporting References at the bottom of page I mentioned earlier, you will find no prohibition against a slave touching a Home Stone.

Slave are not to touch weapons. That is written.
Nothing is more sacred to a Gorean than a Home Stone.
Does it not seem reasonable that if slaves were not allowed to touch one, it would be stated at least once?

To more plainly answer your question, while I can’t imagine the circumstances where it would happen, there is no written prohibition against a slave touching a Home Stone.
