 Q #  Question

Tal Master Fogaban, i trust that this does not come under stupid questions, but is there any mention of a Master dealing with a slave who may be slow to learn, i.e. who has dyslexia or any form of impairment? I understand that the slavers would not pick stupid girls, but do not believe that that form of impairment would be classed as stupid. Many thanks if You deign to reply to this girl, and apologies if You decide that it is a stupid question. ruth

Answer

(notice) I rewrote the Quote Search Rules 3. To replace "stupid" with "ridiculous" for reasons I will go in to below.

Wikipedia says it best:
"(There's) no such thing as a stupid question" is a popular phrase with a long history. It suggests that the quest for knowledge includes failure, and that just because one person may know less than others they should not be afraid to ask rather than pretend they already know. In many cases multiple people may not know, but are too afraid to ask the "stupid question"; the one who asks the question may in fact be doing a service to those around them.
And I agree, there are no stupid questions. There might be ridiculous questions but there should be no questions that someone, in their honest desire to learn, should be afraid to ask.

Now, to answer your question, I can find no reference to a girl being "slow to learn" due to some impairment.
