Nothing came to mind so I came back here to ~The Gorean Cave~, looked down the left side and clicked on Castes.
Then I scrolled down and clicked on Musicians.
Lastly I did a page search using Crtl+F.
I searched for Woman, Women, Companion and Free which turned up nothing relevant.
Since there is nothing in the series that says one of the Caste of Musicians cannot be a woman we're confronted with trying to prove a negative - which is impossible. "The books don't say you can't - so you can."
