Answer
The word "fireworks" (even the two words "fire" and works" together) does not appear in the books.
And you pretty much answered your own question mentioning that gunpowder is not allowed. We have the example of the man in the garments of the Caste of Builders who was experimenting with some form of gunpowder, and died for it. Priest-Kings of Gor    Book 3    Pages 138 - 139
