For instance, it seems most other pages add that the blade of the Gorean short sword is narrow at the hilt, tapers to three inches wide and then tapers to a point at the tip. This addition to the description simply does not appear anywhere in the series text. It is a blatant supposition. Sure, the blade may indeed taper, but the text does not say that it does.
Everything here is substantiated by direct reference to text. If it isn't in the series, it isn't here.
